Anxiety Panic Disorder
Anxiety panic disorder is something many people will deal with at some point in life. When you only have one or two attacks over a lifetime, it is not something you have to be too concerned about. However, in some cases a simple panic attack can lead to an
anxiety panic disorder in which the sufferer may have multiple attacks over a short amount of time.
Anxiety panic disorder most often stems from some sort of stress in your life. It could be the loss of a loved one, separation from a spouse or just the everyday stresses of life that trigger this disorder. The bottom line is if you are dealing with this kind of anxiety you need to seek some help.
Triggers
Different people have different causes or
triggers of anxiety panic disorder. Though they are all different, there are some common themes. Below are a few examples of the causes or triggers of anxiety panic disorder.
- Passive- There is new evidence to suggest that people who are generally passive in nature are more prone to panic attacks. This may be a nice cordial way to interact with people but it can lead to pent up emotion that will express itself through a panic attack.
- Negative- If you have ever been around a negative person you will not quickly forget the experience. These are individuals for whom nothing is good. They will express negative emotion most of the time and figure that little good is coming their way, this emotion often turns inward where they are saying negative things about themselves.
- Worry- By its very nature anxiety panic disorder could be defined as worry. When a person is constantly on edge worrying about a variety of things or playing the what if game they are more prone to panic attacks and anxiety disorders.
- Heredity- Some research suggests that panic disorders are inherited. It is not certain if the cause is purely genetic or environmental in nature, however it is likely a little of both.
- Medications- Certain medications for other disorders have been linked to anxiety problems. Common treatments for ADHD have been shown to cause panic attacks in patients. This is often a temporary effect but it is one you should talk to your physician about.
