Symptoms of panic attacks can be downright terrifying the first time you experience them. Most people who have had a panic attack will tell you it was the worst ten minutes of their life. One reason they are so scary is the fact that they tend to come out of nowhere and all of the sudden your body is betraying you by preparing to flee or fight your way out of a nonexistent danger.
Not everyone who has anxiety will suffer the same
symptoms of panic attacks, some will experience one or two while others will experience
multiple symptoms. Symptoms include but are not limited to:

- Experience dizziness, faintness or unsteady like you are about to pass out
- Unreal- Your surrounding may feel surreal to you as if you were in a dream

As you can imagine any one of these
symptoms of panic attacks would be terrifying. In fact, some people are afraid that they may be losing their mind, which causes them to delay in seeking treatment. This is a huge mistake, treatment can help you live a more normal life and prevent your condition from worsening.
Treatment
Many people want a
cure for the symptoms of panic attacks but the best plan of action is to treat the symptoms while you unravel the cause. When you find the cause and treat that, you will be well on your way to curing the disorder.
Since the symptoms of panic attacks are often caused by a chemical imbalance, you may need to take medication to
stop the anxiety. When you are having a panic attack the body is releasing large amounts of hormones into the body for survival, this is known as the fight or flight response. While this bodily response is excellent if you are staring down an angry bear it has little place during a cozy family dinner.
Other possible answers to the problem are to equip yourself with techniques for getting through the symptoms of
panic attacks. This can be as simple as breathing deeply of counting in your mind to keep focused. Whatever works to keep you in the here and now is what you need to do.
